Weekly Training Summary: June 15 to 21, 2015


I started off the week full of energy but lost it near the end. It’s been really sunny and I was so drained after Sunday’s run/hike that I had a little nap (not long enough). I didn’t get a whole lot of distance in this week but I did get quite a few hours logged. 

Monday: 

  • Rest day.

Tuesday:

  • Lunch run – 6 km on road.

Wednesday: 

Thursday: 

  • Evening hike – 7 km with my coworkers.

Friday: 

  • Rest day.

Saturday: 

  • Evening hike – 7 km with Jesse.

Sunday: 

  • Morning run/hike – 8.5 km with Ward’s Trail Running Adventures clinic!

My goal for this week is to hydrate well, eat well, and sleep well so I don’t burn out at the end of the week! I’d like to get more distance in including more lunch runs and a big run on the weekend.
