Weekly Training Summary: June 22 to 28, 2015


Wow, finally a week I feel really good about! I ran six days for a total of 78 km, my biggest week ever! On the weekend I did back-to-back long runs. And due to the terrain, Sunday was an 8 hour day, my longest day yet! It was a record-setting week for me!

Monday: 

  • Lunch run – 5.3 km on road.

Tuesday:

  • Rest day.

Wednesday: 

  • Lunch run – 6 km on road.

Thursday: 

  • Morning run – 7 km on road.

Friday: 

Saturday: 

  • Long run – 21 km on trail.

Sunday: 

  • Long run – 31.5 km on trail.

I hope to keep up the momentum next week so I can maintain my confidence as I get closer to the big race, Squamish50k! I’m also excited for the Canada Day November Project pledge. Having missed it this past week, it feels like forever since I joined their workout!
