Weekly Training Summary: June 8 to 14, 2015


I feel like I got my groove back! This week I did three weekday runs this week, a November Project workout, and a grueling, almost entirely uphill trail race! I felt strong through all of it and looking forward to increasing mileage as I am only a little over 2 months out from my big race, the Squamish 50k.

Monday: 

  • Lunch run – 5.5 km on road.

Tuesday:

Wednesday: 

Thursday: 

  • Morning run – 8 km with the RunVan group.

Friday: 

  • Rest day.

Saturday: 

  • Rest day.

Sunday: 

  • Seek the Peak race – 16 km and 4100 ft elevation on trail. Plus 10 km run back to my car.

Unfortunately my race was the same day as a Squamish 50 orientation run. I’m hoping to get up there and run the route in the next few weeks. Other than that, my plan is to just run, and run, and run some more!

  1. I hear ya on all the running. I always tell the hubs that if he’s ever wondering where I am, I’m most likely hitting the pavement haha. #marathontrainingprobs
