Weekly Training Summary: May 25 to 31, 2015

I worked out with the November Project Vancouver pledge group again on Wednesday morning! My arms were super sore after from all the pushups but I am looking forward to having upper body strength! On Saturday I ran my first trail race, Survival of the Fittest. It was a blast! The weather couldn’t have been better and the whole event is like one big party. I can’t wait to do another one!

I’ve been neglecting my running lately. This coming week I am going to focus on doing more weekday runs and hill climbing since I have Seek the Peak in only two week! Eek!



I started running about three years ago. Until this time i had never considered myself a runner and actually hated running. I'm not sure what changed but i'm glad it did! I enjoy sharing my thoughts, training, and experiences through my blog and encouraging and supporting others in their running journeys. Since becoming a runner, I have completed a handful of half marathons, three full marathons, and four ultra marathons. However, my biggest accomplishments have been running the Rim2Rim2Rim in the Grand Canyon and completing a seven-day, 250km stage race in the Alps. These were adventures of a lifetime and something I had never imagined that I would do even in my wildest dreams!


  1. Looks like a great week planned out! I need to get back to the running as well, I’ve been slacking since my half (and that was over 2 weeks ago!)

    1. I went from 193 km in April to 121 km in May, a third of which are from my marathon at the beginning of the month! At the same time, if slacking is only running 121 km in a month, I’m pretty okay with how things are going haha! 🙂
